EL CAJON, Calif. – Grossmont College’s Career Technical Education and Workforce Development will host a mixer for students and employers in the field of information technology on Wednesday, March 5.

The event will take place on the second-story terrace of Building 36 from noon to 2 p.m. “The main goal of the event is to provide students with the opportunity to engage with their peers and meet employers within their field of study,” said Erika Arangure, Program Manager of the Career Technical Education and Workforce Development Division.

This mixer offers a valuable chance to network with employers and learn about new trends, job openings, and internship opportunities, all while enjoying light refreshments and the chance to win prizes. “The event is designed more for networking and interaction rather than a traditional setup with booths,” added Arangure.

Students who need accommodations for this event can contact Garrett Peregud at least 10 days before the event.

Free parking will be available in any student parking space, parking restrictions will be enforced.

To RSVP for the event, students can visit https://tinyurl.com/GC-ITMIXER. For more information, Arangure can be reached via email at erika.arangure@gcccd.edu.
